My Trip to Minnesota

Hey you guys!!! It has been a log time since I have been on this!!! wow! I have been in minnesota. I had the most fun time! I met a whole bunch of people. Annie, Bella, Dora, Micael, Em, Kayla, Jen, and MAX!

I am going to make little blurbs about these people and how I met them.......

Annie - I actually met Annie because my brother and my friend mitchell said that i looked like bella. idk why...but yea. Thats when i met Annie. I thought she was very nice. She has a great personality. I played apples to apples with Annie, Bella, my brother, mitchell and a few other people one time. That was fun. Annie also had two little fifth grade boys who had a crush on her who danced with her at the dance on the last day! It was so adorable!!! Annie is from Minnesota. She and bella are coming to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to see the Jonas Brothers concert this summer at summer fest. I hope she'll be able to come to my house for a while because i dont live to far from summer fest grounds. I live in the county right next to it (Waukesha)

Bella - I met bella because my brother and my friend Mitchell said that I looked like her. I honestly don't think i do, but oh well. She is really cool. She was on the shebots team with Annie. She is really nice too. I got to know her a lot better on the last night at the dance. She and I went "Boy Picking" it wasa really funny! Thats when I met MAX!!! I'll tell you about max later because hes just the coolest.. but anyway...bella... I wish I had her email so I could email her every now and then. I hope Annie can get it for me.

Dora - She is from Iceland and she has a really cool accent. I would say that I look a lot more like her than Bella. She has blonde hair and yea. Anyway, I felt bad when I got home because i forgot her name. I talked to her a lot but then I never took the time to repeat the name in my head. so, as a result, I forgot it...but now I remember it because Annie told me in email. Dora is a really good dancer. Her nickname is Dora but her real name is something like darla rosa or something like that...i totally forgot. I'll have to ask her again when I email her next.

Micael - I dont really have much to say about micael other than that he is from Mexico. he was on my alliance and that is how I met him. At first I thought he was the coach but then I learned wrong. his name is pronounced something like michelle. It is really funny. he also is a really good dance, i saw him allover Dora it was hilarious. good for them! lol

Em - She is from the UK. I LOVE HER ACCENT!!! it is great! I promised her that i would stay in touch with her as much as possible... the only problem is that i have nothing to contact her with...thats a bad thing!!! lol! But I can ask kayla for her email or something because she is on her team for FLL. She is cool I think she is like nine or ten...

kayla - she is also from the UK and I just adore her accent as well! She seems like she is going to be a great leader someday She gets right to the point when she speaks and she is VERY energetic! I believe she will do very well in the future! Her friend James had his birthday on SUnday and She invited me over to her hotel room to celebrate james's Birthday (surprise) this is how she invited me..."Hello becca, would you like to come to my mini apartment for a birthday bash for james? we will have scrumptious cake and we can munch on delicious chocolate together!" Now try saying that with an english accent.isn't that funny! it was cute.

Jen - You know mitchel from beforee who I said liked Bella? Well after Bella turned him down, We fouind out that this little UK girl, jen, had a crush on Mitchell. Now, Jen asked mitchell out and they are going out over seas. I hope they will stay in contact! it is so cute!

Max - Ok, now is the best for last! MAX!!! OMG he is so much fun! He is actually german. I wish he didn't have to live in Germany! He should move here!!! Seriously! (= I met him on the last day at the dance party! It was so much fun! I GOT TO DANCE WITH HIM!!! Fun times! At onee point, Annie got really thirsty so wel all went to get a drink, Annie, Bella, this guy namesd Jon, Max and I. We got some water and talkedd for a while. Then snuck outside and almost got locked out! LOL. I had the best time with max he is so cool~! I wish he didn't have to go! He left the dance with his team like thirty minutes before it ended. )= At least i got to hug him Bye!)= I miss him! Oh, and then next day, Max and i were are applebees together. Then I got his email and i can email him now!!! YAY!!!

Omg ai had the most fun at minnesota! I'm so glad I met Max! and also Bella and annie! I hope I can talk to all of them again soon! Well g2g...i need to finish up my homework!!! BUPPY!!!

The Time of my life...Turned Around

Wouzza! I havnt been on here in a long time! Well here I am! I was busy having the time of my life!!! LOL JKJK> I have been having a lot of fun with my friends. I started liking this guy..."ShU" and i've had a lot of fun with him. My friends know all the details. Well now I'm thinking I dont like him that much anymore)= oh well.I wish I still liked him. I guess all the semi-ignorance has caused me to fall fly-off...

I asked him out and he didnt answer me. (this was like two weeks before this week) then we kinda acted like we were going out. then he totally betrayed me. He said that he had a gf online that he has been going out with since then. I dont know why he didnt tell me. We acted like we were going out ("Kayla" and "Gracie" know) then he totally trashed all future moments.

its not really akward when I see him, but he KINDA ignores me and it drives me crazy!!! ARGH!!! oh well...i dont really like him anymore. I shouldnt waste my heart on him. I will meet mr. right possibly next year @ north, but until then, I will be "guythinkabout" free. So yea. thats my hot topic. Heyyy!!! i have not much time too talk, but i would like to say a quick little sumthin!!! Before Spring Break and Introducing "SHU"

Okay like Hi everybody once again!!! OMGEZZERZ!!! i am so happy that tomorrow is our last day of school before spring break!!! I am so tired but I dont wanna go to bed because I am thinking about going to "Jenelle's" house 4 a sleepovah!!! WOO HOO!!! WE are going to make more vids there!!! Like, OMG it is going to be like, so much funno!!! Also, on friday...I a,m planing to go to the movies with "SHU" and a few other peoplez!!! How To Use Your Cell Phone

Hey Evribod!!! Today I was at "Gracie's" house after school with "Kayla" and Em. OMG>>>I had the most funnest TImE Evah!!! LOL!!! We videotaped a demonstrational speech about how to use your cell phone...!!!>>>"Turn off the Fire!!!" "Let's watch 'Kayla' Fly thru midair!!!" OMG those were too funny!!! there was waayyy more, but I cant think of them all right now...after all...it IS 12:33 at night at this very moment. OW!!! Mah Jawzerz hert zo bahd!!! I think I just pulled a muscle or jumped it outta socket When I sneezed just now. OOOOOWWWWW it hurts so bad!!! this has happened before, but not this bad... (it actually happened on Friday when I was watching "Catch Me If You Can".) <<<>>> I couldnt open my mouth because my jaw was locked! it was so weird! O, well. I will just try not to talk tomorrow. there is this one think that mah friendzerz made up called... Flubbernugget land... OMG IT IS SO FUNNAYNAY!!! "Kayla" and I think it should be in CUBA and everybodi else thinks it should b in FIJI..which one would you think it should be???

Howdy ya'll!!! I havn't written in this in a long time!!! I had the flu on monday and Tuesday in the begining of this week. Today I have WSMA contests and I am so tired. I had to wake up extra early to go there this morning, therefore, I had to rehearse with my accompanist because i forgot my music yesterday...tee hee... well actually I never knew about it because my choir teacher NEVER TOLD ME!!! Argh! she "claimed" to have put the times on the paper in my folder slot, BUT SHE DIDNT PUT ANYTHING IN THERE!!! She has no personality whatsoever and nobody really likes her. ok, enough gossip. I still have to do my solo and my double trio for WSMA.

I went...practiced...came home...(and im still @ home *can't u tell???) then I need to go do mah solo and mah double trio song. I hope one of our sopranos, will actually come. We need her! Although, I think we ARE pretty good, considering that some of us learned the song at the last minute (me for example)...i mean hey, I had a lot of songs to learn at the time of recieving mah WSMA music. its all because of one word...Jr. Festival...so yea. I hope we will do ok. I think i know the songs...OMG my brother will not shuttup right now~! but i love my brother! lol... so now I am just waiting for my time to go and do mah thang!!! Culver's and Love

Today I have nothing to say except for the fact that I saw my friend Mikey at Culver's today. I had a lot of fun there. well anyway...my friend Mikey got a weird ice cream, let me explain...it was chocolate and vanilla mixed. Then, it has little recess pieces. Then it had mint jelly on top. It looked really gross. It looked like a perfectly good ice cream that just got snotted allover by a giant monster. That was pretty interesting. I got a chocolate eclair icecream. It tasted horrible! I didnt want that kind...i wanted chocolate icecream. But my dad said the chocolate eclair icecream would be better and boy he was wrong, but i love mah daddy!!! So anyway, I am tired and I am bored...Buppy 4 now!!!

The Beauty of Life…

A TRUE story retold and experienced by "Mixxie"

It was two summers ago at a place called Fort Wilderness. It is quite a beautiful camp in the middle of the forest that was surrounded by tall trees and rocky trails. Not too far from the camp was a reasonably small lake, a pond almost. This lake had water that had ripples that looked like shining stars with smoothly polished pebbles below. I enjoyed every minute of this camp until one unusually dubious evening when something astonishing happened. It is truly something, I will never, for as long as I live…will ever forget.

The sun was setting calmly in the evening sky and my friends and I just finished up our appealing diners. At last, the camp was calming down. The three of my friends and I decided to take a relaxing dip in the warm summer waters.

We headed to the beach and we just could not wait to get in. We unwrapped our towels and raced to where the water gracefully ran over the beach of white sand. Oh, how we enjoyed the feel of the water streaming through our fingers. We were having the time of our lived.
We splashed around, then all of the sudden, out of nowhere… we realized that something has gone terribly wrong. “Where is Marrissa?” my friend’s voice sounded so tender, so anxious as she spoke. At that very moment, I felt a cool chill run down my spine.

Our dear friend was missing. We searched and searched…under the old willows…inside the abandoned boats…but she was just nowhere to be found. Then something caught my eye. It looked like a body just floating there face down in the middle of the lake. “It’s Marrissa!” My heart beat fast…for I was thinking of what could have possibly happened to this poor girl.

We swam and swam until we had finally reached the still and cold body. We turned her over so her head was out of the water. When I looked at her, I nearly had a heart attack. Her skin was tough and as white as a fresh blanket of snow. Her lips were as blue as the deep blue ocean. Her eyes were as red as slow burning embers. They were rolled back, only making visible the “whites” of her eyes.

I looked at her fingernails and they were turning bright blue. When your finger nails turn blue, it is a sign that your body is not getting enough oxygen. I noticed that she was not breathing. “Whoever is the fastest swimmer, go and get an adult who knows CPR and HURRY!!!” I yelled frantically to my friends.

My remaining friend tried to help me swim her to shore. I felt as if I was pulling a herd of elephants. The water made it so hard to move her. The closer we got to shore, the whiter, bluer, bloated, and stiffer she got. As we approached the shore, one of my friend’s mother raced into the water. There were about twenty other kids standing on the shore with expressions of terror on her face. My friend’s mother reached us and carried her the rest of the way.

I was relieved from the weight, but not from the tension and fear. I ran onto the shore where Marrissa’s rock hard body lay on a pile of towels and blanked that the kids had brought. My friend’s mother laid a blanket over her body. She started doing CPR. I have never seen anybody be so aggressive in my whole entire life. I walked up to Marrissa. “Check her pulse” I granted the mother’s request and checked her pulse.

I placed my finger on the side of her neck and her wrist. I still felt a pulse. Not too long after that, the most frightening happened. A cold breeze swept through the crowd and gave us all a chill. Then I heard a deep man’s voice speak… “Be prepared for what will happen next.” Who said that! I thought to myself…There were no men in sight. They were all gathered up at the camp.

Then it happened… All of the sudden, the pulse stopped… I listened to the silence of the atmosphere. Not even a single person spoke a word. The shadows of the old willows dawned down upon us. I whispered… “She’s… She’s dead”. My voice was as cold as ice and as hard as stone. The mother checked her pulse. I was a tear run down the side of her cheek. She nodded…Sure enough…I had just experienced a loss of a life.

My heart beat rapidly to the rhythm of the lake. The mother placed a blanket over her head. There was Marrissa, lying there…lifeless. I tremble at the thought of the experience. We just stood there, not knowing what in the world to do.

Then, the most miraculous thing ever happened. We heard soft splashes of water. There were small fish jumping in and out of the water. The shadows all seemed to disappear and there was a sudden sense of warmth in the air. I felt as if nothing happened at all. I did not feel any emotional pain or sorrow. In fact, I felt rather blissful. I felt like a happy little girl just laughs at anything and is completely carefree. I felt young again. I was daydreaming. Then something interrupted my thoughts. I heard a soft sigh and several tense coughs. I looked at Marrissa’s cloth coffin. I lifted the blanket off her face and there she was…eyes open and all. She was returning to her original hues, once again.

She looked like a newborn child. She looked so tender, so breakable. She smiled and sat up straight. I heard multiple gasps as she sat up. She was alive and well. It was pure miracle. Things like this do not happen every day. She whispered in a tender, almost heartbreaking voice… “Thank you.” My eyes started to water and I started to really heat up. I was so amazed. I opened up my arms wide and gave her the biggest hug I owned. I was crying so much that her blanket was all wet despite the water from the lake. “Someone up there must really care for you. He must have decided that your time is not over yet.” I whispered in her ear.

I just looked straight into her eyes and thought of how amazing this episode was. That night, the four of my friends including me decided to sleep on the beach next to the rolling tide. We laid down our sleeping bags and pillows and gazed upon the stars. Oh, there were so many stars up there. I have never seen so many in my life. At that very moment, I realized that there was something or someone beyond this world that cares for us. It is so amazing this thought… Before I closed my eyes, I looked up to the stars and whispered… “A little bit of love really does come from a long, long way…”

Warm Weather

I have not much to say today but for the fact that it is quite warm out... 40 degrees... this temputature is quite warm to me because it has been the longest most trecherous winter I have ever experienced. I am quite relieved that a warm wind has brought me pleasure for winter has been so long. I have only been outside once though. I was acutally at church and I was outside between classes enjoying the spring weather with two of my very faithful friends...ok thats sounds lame...but it is quite true in deed. Ok do you see what I mean??? Well I will let you go now...Buppy!

My Friend Who Died and Came Back To Life

My, I've GOT IT!!! I have a perfect topic! I am still doing the camp topic but I am going to only tell one story. That is the story of a friend at camp who had a seizure in the water, died, and came back to life. I am not going to tell you all the details now so you will have to wait until I post the manuscript for my speech on here, then you will know what the whole story is. It is really breathtaking and life changing. I know it changed my life immensely. It really made me realize that there is a lot more to life than here on earth. It made me even stronger in my faith that God really DOES exists. I know not everyone is a christian but I would like to tell everyone what I believe and believe in it very strongly... SO that is going to be my topic. A life changing event that I would oh, most deffinetly like to share with others.

My Narrative Speech Ideas...

Just a few days ago, our class was asked to write a narrative speech for our speech unit. Then we will need to recite our speech in front of the class. I think it will go pretty well. but the only downer is that I don't know what to talk about. I am having a speakers' block. It has been one day over due now that I don't have my speech topic. I am totally stuck...

OK, well I am not totally stuck...I have two topics down. One of them is my camp. I went to this really exciting camp during the summer of going into seventh grade. Omigosh, it was the best camp ever! It took place at Camp Fort Wilderness...you know the place way up north about five hours from school. When I was there, I met a whole bunch of people. Ok...i am not going to give you all the details because I might do that for a speech and I don't want to give all the details away... Do you know what I mean?? I hope so...

OK, so anywhoo, I was going to say my other topic. Well, it is not exactly a topic but it is a story I wrote called "Paint"... I am not exactly finished writing it but I am off to a good start. But now that I think of it, a lot of people in my class have already read the begining three or four chapters so I don't want to bore them by reading it...well actually SPEAKING it to them again. So I don't think I will do that...

It is really bothering me that I don't have a third topic. I need to think up of ideas...hmmm... I think I am going to just do the Camp speech because it is the only thing that comes to my mind right now... OK...so I have a lot of topics for persuasive and demonstrations, but not too much for narrative which is REALLY unusual...you know?

Well...I wonder if it is OK to just keep the third topic slot blank...maybe i should just fill it out with something really random like pickles or...lemons...Hey, I don't know. This is hard!!! OK, I will just put down my third topic as my trip to Hawaii...I don't want to do that one tho because I talk about it too much and too many people get mad at me because they are too jealous that I did win the National Igniting Creative Energy contest and won a trip to Hawaii and Washington D.C. where I met Hilary Clinton in person...heh heh heh...sorry, I got a little carried away there...

SO anywhoo...I will write that down then I will probably come back here to make another post, but then again...I may not...it all depends on how tired I am and what time it is...SO I guess I will see you later!!! Buppy 4 now!!!

Strange People On My Bus

There are some really weird people on my bus...I swear, these "people" do not get enough sleep...the other day I caught Nick B. singing The Twelve Days Of Christmas in a very "operetic" style. It was a very...intresting...experience... strange but intresting...

He, then, started to sing these really cheesy and corny songs from third grade. I didn't remember them...well until now...LOL!

Time is a gift...

Lately I have been thinking...and I have been noticing things...around me...my environment is becoming more complex and interesting. When I was little, i just passed through time like it was of no importance...but now I savor each moment as if it was my last...because time, is a gift...sometimes we as humans need a simple break from our "priorities" to take a breather..from things that aren't THAT like shopping for a "cute shirt"... watching T.V. (too much is time killing in a bad way)...videogames...and of course the Internet...But truly... Time is a gift...savor the best of it... Live this day as if it was your last...

A Day In The Life Of...

In my Language class, I have to write journal entries like a "Day In The Life Of..." then I would put my name. I am not going to use my real name for this site just for safety precautions. But, I will refer to myself as "Mixxie"...my cover up name...

I will try to write in this everyday. I hope she will let me do the journals this way. I have not asked her yet, but I hope she will like the idea because I am more motivated to type. Yes, I know I can just print out whatever I have to say, but I don't want to have to do that. I just want to type what i have to say and then press "post".

Anyway, printing out on paper is like, totally, wasting one of our most precious resources, trees... We need trees to breathe. We don't need paper for something that someone is probably going to look at once. I mean, if you write something, more people should see it with just one click.

I also believe that it is a more intreating way to convey a thought. It is more visual and more motivating for me. So, I hope that my language teacher will let me do my "Day In The Life Of..." journal on this website...afterall, that is what I created this blog for.
